Abandoned and Homeless, Jacki Finds Hope at Harbor Care
Jacki’s struggle with alcohol has made it challenging for her to maintain a life of stability. She was staying at a board and care facility and was having health problems. “The lady who ran the board and care took me to the hospital and grabbed somebody’s wheelchair, set me in it, put me in line and left me there”, says Jacki. During Jacki’s hospital stay, she was unable to keep up with her rent and lost her place.
