From Homeless to Housed, Debra Moves on From Harbor Care into Her Own Apartment
This has been a tragic and triumphant year for Debra. She had lost her apartment and then ended up in the hospital before making her way to Harbor Care. Debra was able to rest up and get her strength back while our case managers worked on finding her a place to live.
Debra needed some encouraging news after a string of hardships and disappointments. She waited and prayed and finally the phone rang with the approval we had been hoping for. Debra would be moving on from Harbor Care into her new apartment.
To make her transition smooth, we provided Debra with a housewarming gift of a TV, microwave, toiletries, and groceries to help launch her into her new season of independent living.
